I am a book reading, art loving, traveling, music listener who paints. I raised four children and have 4 grandchildren.  I follow politics, especially on a national level.  I believe that after we raise our children, we should strive to become that person we were before we had children!  For me - that's engaging socially, meeting new people of all ages and enjoying each day to the fullest!  I also host an internet radio show each Friday from Noon - 2:00 called "Mama Roux's New Orleans Gumbo" (mamarouxsneworleansgumbo.com)  on ashevillefm.org.
